SPC Expands it’s Eco-Friendly Initiative with NEW Re-Form™ Eco-Friendly Emergency Response Spill Kits

MILWAUKEE, WI - (May 1, 2009) – Sorbent Product Company (SPC), a Brady business, announces an addition to their high-performance Re-Form™ Sorbents product line, adding Portable and Drum Spill Kits. Use less and save more with Re-Form spill kits offering 24% more absorbency and 5% savings than standard polypropylene spill kits.



Currently, SPC Re-Form™ Sorbents are available in pads, rolls, and socs, and now includes Re-Form Eco-Friendly Emergency Response Spill Kits. Company’s can be prepared when accidents happen with SPC’s Re-Form™ Emergency Spill Kits. With five different spill kits available, they are suited for any size spill response and help meet SPCC compliance. Our portable spill kits provide quick and easy access for small emergencies while drum kits handle larger jobs.



Re-Form™ sorbent products are manufactured from a minimum of 80% recycled newsprint and raw cellulose material, providing users with 30% more absorption power for industrial spills or clean-up. Re-Form™ Sorbent products remain fire retardant and come with the “Re-Form Guarantee.” The initial cost of the Re-Form™ Sorbents are 5% lower than oil-based polypropylene sorbents and SPC guarantees stable pricing since manufacturing costs are not impacted by volatile oil prices. Re-Form™ Eco-Friendly Sorbents were developed for general purpose use to handle basic drips and spills either indoors or in dry-weather outdoor applications for water, oil and non aggressive chemical spill response.



The unique construction of Re-Form™ Sorbents offer absorbency rates 25-50% higher than oil-based polypropylene sorbents, ensuring end users superior absorbency to get the job done and to generate less waste.
